Besides of being a bit picky on a typo, I think the icecream library is a good tool that simplifies the workflow of many people.

I see that many people do not agree with using this library. It is true that propper software development would not include this kind of debugging tools. Also, I would say, propper software development would probably not use Python to begin with as there are application with much more performance and other more powerful tools to deal with errors.

In my case, it suits my workflow as I rarely write scipts longer than 500 lines of code and then I switch to a different project. If I would write more complex software, I would look into proper logging and debugging tools and probably consider a different programming language in general.
